Hello, I don't come here often, but I'll give it a shot.
I've been listening to prog for 15 years and I've been currently playing MAGMA- mekanik destruktiv kommando and amon duul 2- wolf city a lot. anther classic is camel- snowgoose etc- van der graaf etc.
I need someone to point me to similar stuff. Keep in mind I know all the classics, but if you like it and think I'd like it. post it by all means.
What I'm liking with magma and amon duul right now, is how they're awkward, mystical and slightly esoteric mood. I like the fairytale-ness of camel. Anything magical forest, mystical, very atmospheric, stuff in the same area is what I need.
thank you.

Comus is pretty much perfect for what you described,
But in case you know that already, you can try
Tarkus or Jan Dukes de Grey

I'll listen to it. and remember that the higher the art, the less accessible it is. High praise from a small amount of people is generally a good sign when I look for cultural recommendations.
