As someone who got into Prog Rock as his first genre, I felt slightly sad when I learned that Chris Squire and Keith Emerson passed away over the past year and a half, especially with how the latter shot himself in the head over crippling depression over his nerve hand problems.

I hate to say it but I just wouldn't cry for most of these artists. I was very sad about Bowie but he was everyones cool friend and he burrowed into your heart. A lot of these artists just made nice music but never had a big emotional impact on me as people themselves.
