I like it so far. Great quality. Maybe add background music or something to add some energy to the delivery? I know it's a mess to do this with YouTube's shitty copyright policies, but I feel it'd be worth to try some royalty free music that suites the video's topic (calm music for Ambient, spacey or cinematic pieces for post-rock, and so on). Definitely see potential. Keep going, a remember to be consistent. Your videos can be as good as you want, but if you're not consistent, your channel may be forgotten by your viewers. Just a tip, but I'm no expert or anything.

well, he didn't piss me off like I was expecting him to. he does seem like he enjoys these genres & selections.
However I think he misses the actual mark of his own videos.

I may agree with the rest that the 5 album per genre formula may be a bit tricky to elaborate —hell, I have so many favourite ambient records that I couldn't ever choose only 5 of them— but, nonetheless, I really like how you present your own choices: giving a clear description of how each album was made, how it sounds and how it makes you feel
Maybe some other video formulas like individual album reviews —which you may have already thought about doing— will boost some other's people attention on your channel, so be sure to give it a shot!

Just because you're still small time you might be interested in doing some type of reviews that are different from what most people are doing. I've never seen a youtuber review free/small time bandcamp albums, such as those from our bandcamp thread and I think it might be cool to review the best of those. But maybe not, it's really hard to say. Of course you probably are looking for popularity, which is certainly not where that would lead you to.

To boring, not enough memes. I mean the music is memes but there aren't enough non music memes and you don't want to get memed on with your taste.
Start by editing out all the silence fragments from your video, it would cut like 2 minutes out that you don't need because you aren't rolling in those youtube view money.
Bump the speed of the vids by 5-10% but talk deeper when you record them.
I think you should change the style of the thumbnails.
It looks like another vlogger's channel, and are not captivating to the eye.
The faces thing is something to take in account. I wouldn't suggest it. Gives the idea that you show too many facets while your videos have a more monotone and direct form.
Also you don't need to put all the title in the thumbnail. Something that references to it looks less forced and clickbaity.
I would also suggest some kind of minimalism but that goes more to you. I'm not a graphic designer.
