I just bought a turn table and I am going to start buying vinyl records. I was wondering if there are any particular genres, artists, labels etc that sound better or worse on vinyl.

usually on discogs people will write in the comments if the pressing is bad. if there aren't any like that it's probably fine

Just bought my first turntable a couple months ago and have really enjoyed collecting so far.
My advice would be to purchase records that you will be more inclined to listen to actively.
