I loved that album but it was a grower. The lyrics were really weird to me in a direct kinda bjork way? I got used to her vocals instantly but the way she writes and her dilevery is a bit strange. Went to her concert people were legitimately crying was a great experience all round. Hopelessness is a killer track

Pitchfork really shot themselves in the foot when they only gave TPAB a 9.3 on its release, but they never could've known how important that album became to the social movements of 2015. if I had to guess they were anticipating giving a 10 and the AOTY to Frank, but he never released the album and they tied three other albums up with TPAB beforehand to have a variety of albums to choose from for the AOTY as it became more and more apparent that Frank was pushing the album back. had they known Frank wasn't releasing BDC last year, they would've given TPAB a 9.6 or a 10.
