the bandcamp is more of a formality, if you really want to support me you can, that kind of thing.
maybe its the wrong approach though... who knows, if its not doing so well ill just make it 'free or more'.. but bandcamp limits free downloads as well so its kind of a mix of issues.
currently the only incentive for bandcamp to any potential listeners is the option to choose something like flac as the format, which although there is a difference, isnt a particularly great incentive.

I feel ya. But you get 200 free downloads a month with "Free or More", and My albums have been downloaded 50 times total (plus a few individual tracks)- which is probably 50 more downloads than if I would have charged money for them lol.
The way I look at it is if someone downloads it, they might share it with friends during an aux-cord circle, or play the songs in their car or at a gathering that might expose it to people that would never hear it on SC or BC.

That's certainly one way to do it. If people are interested in donating, they can always choose to donate when it's "free or more". Personally, I try to drive more traffic to my bandcamp because I think the bandcamp layout just looks nicer and more professional (you can tailer the design and color scheme to present your work with more "personality"). I always put a bandcamp download link in the description of all my soundcloud songs.
I'd say experiment. Try different techniques and see which ones gain you more traction. SC and BC always work best when they come together, but which one you choose to emphasize and utilize more is more a matter of personal taste I think.

You're lyrics, sound, structure is absolutely terrible and sounds like every other bedroom producer who is going to "Make it big cuz I got mad dawgs who in the industry and gonna give me a boost." Your vocal's sound like you just had a bukaki fest on your face and the cum is still stuck in your nose. Insanely nasely, no clearness or any emotion... To put it bluntly everything about your vocal work is absolutely horrendous.
Lyrics are trash. Can't understand half of what you are saying either. Learn to fucking speak English if you are going to sing a song in that language.

Intro has me mesmerized. A bit out there... A few note mistakes, and you need to work on your playing of clear long notes. The whole song could really use something "more" than just layered guitars but as it stands it needs to also be a bit more legato. I can hear you breathing every now and again through your mic. At 3:10 that doesn't fit at all, you sound like a rabid dog going after a butterfly. for no reason at all.
All in all, the idea is nice, execution is meh, but if you work on your playing abilities and stick more with the original theme (calming/disharmonized it seemed at first.) You have potential. 6.5/10 or 7/10. Can't make my mind up on which.

I like Ancient a lot more too. Although you could work on your vocal execution. Like I told the other guy, you seem to have no emotion. Sing with emotion, talk with emotion. Learn that the mic is Dynamic, and sometimes you should stand father away from it when you want to be louder with more emotion etc. A bit repetitive on the riff but it works. For the sound you are going for I suppose? I think this song shows more of your writing potential you just need to harness it and make your riffs... More interesting without being overly complicated for no reason.

Drums coming in are a let down. I was expecting something bigger and more ambient sounding to fill the track and make it massive. Instead it just sounds rather small.
Drop at 1:30 sounds good, got that whole night rider sound going. Level wise (minus the drums this sounds good.)
Huge fan of Detune and the way you did it at 2:40 was great. Not to much but enough to make things feel a bit out of place. You could have done better with it, but it not bad and detune wasn't overly done so props there.
You need more ambience in the song. More volume cuts, reverb overloads, things that flavor the song and make it less linear. While the 80's music has a very distinct sound, we are almost in the 2020's. There is no reason you can't add more flavor and variety to the simple 80's rhythm and beat styles.
Started Killing Idols but turned it off because it didn't flow with the intro. Sounds like yo just wanted to use a vox sample regardless of if the music fit or not. I was expecting a real heavy sound, with some massive detune but... Was met with a very happy sounding synth. I may listen to it later on after the intro as its own song but I'm too offput right now.
