Great albums that don't end well.
As good as this album is, The Trial just sounds like a fucking Disney movie and without its lyrical value the song is nothing.

The Trial was great track. The bit where the final seconds of the last disc runs over into the first seconds of the first disc making it a giant circular album is awesome. He's walled himself in on all sides with the album, it never ends and never escapes.

i really loved the trial, i think its one o the best on the album. Also outside the wall is beautiful.

They're Red Hot is one of the worst songs i've heard in my life
for as spectacular this album is, the second half isnt quite as good as the first half.
Should have ended with I Want It, I Need It
I don't think Compton is a bad song, it just seems so out of place.

Dude the 2nd half is he best. Man of Metropolis, Night Zombies, The Seer's tower, and the Tallest Man are all so so good.... not to mention that the best song on the album, The Predatory Wasp is on the 2nd half... Pls reconsider >:|

Only 2/5 tracks are about the music industry, although I'll agree they are pretty bad. Also, name me one legitimately funny Steely Dan song

The closer on album should of been New Dawn Fades. I Remember Nothing is pretty bland in my opinion.
