My last purchase was a 50-pack of Mofi sleeves. It's the first time I've ever handled them, and I must say it's pretty good. I also ordered one free sample of a 10" Diskeeper 2.0 for one 10" record, and I'm considering buying the standard 12" ones.

Depends. It's really pointless buying vinyl represses of records you could find in dollar bins. It's a blessing when a rare, out-of-print record gets reissued.
I'm, for one, glad that some albums I've been looking for for years have been reissued in the past years.

Yeah, I have a thing for cheesy but well produced 80s pop which is in endless supply in charity shops, but more obscure things like The Jesus and Mary Chain albums being reissued was amazing to me. Same with Eels albums. Original pressings were insanely expensive on ebay.

To be honest I think the cover looks a bit shit (better in my photo than irl), and every image in the web does as well. Not sure why, too washed out and bad colors I guess. The actual print is still the best rendition of it though. Fantastic EP anyway.

needed an eq so i went to goodwill (and surprisingly found one) and they had almost every genesis cd in stock (which is very lucky for me because my dad threw out all of the liner notes for mine and stuck all the cds in a booklet) + talking heads/eno + naked brothers band + some high schooler's debut ep and oh boy its fucking terrible

There was no way they were going to outdo 2015 but I actually enjoyed it way more than I had felt about the lineup on paper. Lots of acts whose albums I didn't care a whole lot for that ended up being way better live.

Yeah, I really did. It was $20, because the store owner is clueless and I live in a shithole town where the only store sells 90% dadrock. I usually spend an hour or more every time I'm there, and usually I'll find one or two good records tops.

There are a few records stores here in Chattanooga but there is a huge problem with stores being to "hip" and selling you the idea of the store itself rather than the records, if you understand. Things are usually way over priced.
Also with Discogs being as big as it is, stores just use that to set the price, its so hard to find a crazy unnoticed deal. I found a copy of "Since I Left You" in the "new and unsorted" bin and almost shit my pants then the guy told me it was $90.
Much proggier than usual, though saying that a few weeks ago I picked up The Snow Goose and Pat Metheny's Bright Size Life
