ITT: albums with flawless endings
>>66223892
is this the most consistent double album of all time?
>>66223981
Most consistent, period, in my book, s'my goat.
>>66223874
I think Acrobat should have been the closer desu.
>>66223874
'Love is Blindness" was a good choice as well. The whole album is solid though. How did you feel about the opener?
>>66223815
Dark Side of the Moon ended great, but it is popular
The Mollusk by Ween
Good News for People who love Bad News ended great
Off the top of my head
>>66224147

>>66223815
you first
>>66223815
Am I the only one who thinks the Paul McCartney version in the middle of the song completely ruins it? I hate that part and the song would probably be my favourite if it wasn't included
>>66225380
agreed
not only is it cheesy but it doesn't fit the song at all
>>66225431
worst song on the album
yes, worse than untitled
>>66225380
yeah, his little shoehorned segment always takes me out of what was otherwise a strange and exciting john lennon song
>>66225380
Nico (as in the Velvet Underground & Nico) said as much to Paul's face.
>>66225509
>>66225380

Are you kidding? Thats the second best bit of the song. The best being the "Never looking anyother way"s at the end that run across the speeker from side to side. Pauls bit is a great contrast and makes the song more interesting and spices the track up. Best Beatle song by far.
Any Radiohead
>>66225142
Typical /mu/ ignoring Prince. The Gold Experience also has an incredible ending
>>66224137

Actually, I don't mind Paul's bit in the song, but, for some strange reason, my dog goes bat shit crazy during that hanging piano chord at the end of the song. I can't figure out why for the life of me, and it happens every time I play it. (both mono or stereo version)
>>66229165
Vinyl copies end with a loop of a dog whistle
>>66227036
The whole album is perfect shut your face
Say what you will about the album, but the ending is god damn fantastic
>>66224081
