Why does there need to be one? Malkmus abandoned Pavement as a project and is hesitant about further touring precisely because he thinks it's better to leave Pavement as it is instead of insincerely trying to shoehorn his new material into the Pavement framework or otherwise abuse the legacy.
Maybe the 2010 tour was exploitative, I don't know. But it was fairly innocuous all things considered.
