First of all, who has heard the new album from Huerco S.? I love it, its a top 5 album of 2016 for me, and probably the most oft-listened to album so far for me. I find myself playing it around the house when I'm cleaning, studying or just need some background noise. I even play it when I'm winding down for bed.
Anybody else have any recommendations for similar music along these lines?
It was really good but not quite the level of Colonial Patterns.
Outsider house and deep house is the kind of stuff you are looking for.

it was enjoyable but never moved beyond that, it almost feels like a different musician made it.
From my experience with outsider house, Huerco S. is pretty distinct and I haven't come across much that is relatable
Seconding OOBE, Stealth Love and SFTCR are fantastic but they're both very different from Huerco's most recent. check out You're Me and Francis Harris' Minutes of Sleep. If you want something similar to Colonial Patterns, check out Lee Gamble's KOCH and Person of Interest's self titled
A nice ambient album.
