It's not really what you would think of as metal. The first song has elements of synth pop in it and some of it is outright hardcore punk.

But yeah it is better than every metal album. It being crowned with a 9 is also one of Scaruffi's boldest correct opinions.

He was 100% spot on when he said that "I Know You're Fucking Someone Else" would have been a mainstream hit if it didn't sound completely tortured. Steele could write songs that were simultaneously catchier than anything on the radio while also making every other hardcore band sound like pussies.
