Edweena is the GOAT opener
Not Available is literally the best album in their early years!

Agreed. But their first three albums are all very close to perfect.
What is your favorite album?
I really love the ones where they construct fictional societies. Eskimo and Mark of the Mole are my favorites. Also love Intermission a lot.
favorite residents songs?

I really like Duck Stab, Eskimo, and Freakshow. How about you, anon?

It's a three way tie between Duck Stab/Buster and Glenn, 3rd Reich and Roll, and Eskimo (The last one is great on a hot summer's day when the air conditioning isn't working)

Although I wouldn't really call it a song, but more of a pre curser to Plunderphonics, my favorite Residents' "song" would have to be Beyond the Valley of A Day In The Life, with Loser's Weed coming in at a close second. (Of course there's Satisfaction, and the whole 3rd Reich and Roll album, too)
I think it's my favorite album too. I've listened to Fingerprince yesterday and didn't really like it that much.

I picked up an original Duck Stab / Buster & Glen last week at a local record store. First Residents album I own (although i've listened to plenty before)
I love their other albums but I dunno if I could find one i adore more than Meet The Residents
Theres just a certain charm to it
