This thread is case in point. You guys think she's the best artist ever. I've never seen a fanbase overrate an artist so much. Newsom isn't bad, but she's not THAT good. I don't overrate my favorite artists like that

The things that you guys cite as reasons for her being good are in fact what makes her good (the long winded songwriting/instrumental arrangements), but all I'm saying is that you guys overblow those virtues, calling her the best of all time etc, etc.

Like I said in the last post, if you bothered to read it, I like Joanna Newsom's work, but I don't put it on such a high pedestal as you do.
