I like what I hear. But that's about it. It's not bad by any means, don't get me wrong. The sound is crisp, it has some potential and the mix ain't too bad quite honestly. But the fact is - this is, as you say yourself, avant-garde. It's too subjective to make myself an opinion on that matter. However I liked vibes that came from "Scarlet Ibis" which reminded me bit of trip-hop. "Sacrificial Lamb" is also something which I dug. However I don't "feel" it. Either way I'm sure somebody will. It's nice but sadly, over my tiny head.

I've listened to new tracks. My only complain would be that TPWTKW track is a bit too loud in the beginning when the guitar and drums kick in. But it's quite a small thing to brag about. I really liked Angakok! Mostly because of the very delicate atmosphere you've created. Well put piece for sure. I'll be watching out for the full release!

Mixing of vocals it definitely something you should think about. They are, in my opinion, way too back. Other than that, again, I can't complain too much. I guess the whole look of your page scared me a bit...

After the third try it finally clicked in me. It's good, quite honestly I fancy the whole mix of IDM and trip-hop. And you got me on BoC inspiration which I could hear from time to time. But I don't feel like I could distinguish you from others, you know? You're not breaking any mold, you aren't making any form of revolution. It's really standard. But granted it's your first release so probably you'll evolve as time passes. But I wish you well - you have some fundaments for you to work on and good ones at that!

yeah i admit i went a bit crazy on the loudness, but that's mainly because i've been wanting to do something loud and noisy for so long and this was my first chance to do it, so i went all out.

beleaguered so far is really really calming and feels huge, like something that would be used for an ambient nature video full of canyon shots and shit.

I only just now realized that this is coming from the label. This link confused me. It's ambient alright. Quite a long piece however I feel where this Jorge guy was going. And as far as I can hear - it could be something nice. However the repetitiveness will be a problem I believe. This track might not hold itself well when being just another 30 minute ambient track. However I can't tell now - have to digest it later on. The beginning is promising.

This album is indeed simplified. On the first track I was scared that it was just a wave however I found out that later on it became something else. I also feel like this whole thing lacks a concept I suppose. Vocals on two tracks, very quiet atmosphere in few places then Cirrus which is, again, something different in the representation. The mixing is weird too. It's almost TOO quiet but that's a matter of personal taste. I mean, I don't dig it personally. I guess I like different sort of ambient. It just makes me numb after a while - I'm not satisfied nor disgusted. Just numb. Also

Yeah the concept is pretty loose, It boils down to every track being feelsy and "airy". I did intentionally sort the songs so that it builds in intimacy up until the fifth track. If you ever feel like listening again, pay attention to the melodies. Its ok if you don't though, its kinda challenging.
