So was Korn post rock?
nu-metal
>>66048415
It doesn't really remind of bands like Disturbed
>>66048415
post-metal*
>>66048439
Yeah it does, they're both garbage.
they were atmo-sludge mixed with rap metal
>>66048407
post-metal but also post-grunge in a sense

bumpo
>>66048407
grunge funk actually, kind of like Tool
>>66048790
Garbage sounds nothing like either actually
>>66048407
no, but they were almost the end of it.
>>66050021
>tool
>funk
wut?
>>66050475
So what do you mean by that exactly?
>>66048839
yeah, i see that.
they were kinda like a post-metal / post-grunge band from Florida. But then again, they also were kind of coming out of the hardcore scene and brought Limp Bizkit (easy to forget they came from hardcore background) along with them.
But in general, Korn was just angry and heavy. They never took up the nu-metal name.

Disturbed isn't generic nu-metal though (even though they suck just as bad) because it has zero hip hop influence.
The big 3 are Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Korn. None of them sound that much like Disturbed.

Follow the Leader is as nu-metal as you can get. It's their first manufactured album for the masses.
