Nah, it's too rough. The indie I'm thinking of is super clean and twee, the roughst I can think of is The Vaccines. Like take these bands for example

It's all super sweet and twee, it's hard to think that some of these came out almost 10 years ago. They all have something that more or less connects this sound but I can't place my finger on it.
