Is this the album Depression Cherry wanted to be? In the sense that it's shoegaze crossed with dream pop. The first track is even called "Cherry-Coloured Funk". Either way, both great and underrated albums I reckon.
the really cheap sounding synths and the shitty mixing with the drums are nowwhere compaeable to depression cherry

Granted some of the drum and synth sounds are a bit dated in the way that they are in something like Loveless but what songs do you think are mixed badly? I think it sounds pretty good and I'm especially glad they didn't decide to drown the vocals out.

most of the album has problems with the drums because of how upfront and muddy they are lile they don't feel crisp whatsoever
