J̥̫͙͖͌͌ͦ̓ȃ̩͎̳s̟̠̝͊o̭̞̼͇̔ͪͮ̒ͣ͒ṉ͙͎̻ ̒͑ͭ̉̈A̍͂ͧl̝̭d͐̇͊̈̆̓̾e̮͓͉̻̹̻a̯͉̥͙̬ͯͦn̙͈͎̉̌̽ is no neophyte in the Power Electronics scene, but it's safe to say that even his troupe of ardent internet followers-- the self-fashioned Ȃ͕͍͋ͤ̚l̝͕͚̐͊̋̒͗ͪd̺̃̈́͛e̮̰͓͙͋̑̓͋a̟̰̻̹̳͋̒̓n̺'̉s̖̋͂̋͆ ̦̯̟̘̗͑͑ͧͫḺ̬͓̪̣̮̊̎̋̌i̬͔̳̣̹ͦ̐sͨ͐ͩ̉ͣt-- must have been taken surprise by PEEP. A lesser voice would be rendered indistinguishable by the intense vocal processing thrown on by studio wizard A̍͂ͧl̝̭d͐̇͊̈̆̓̾e̮͓͉̻̹̻a̯͉̥͙̬ͯͦn̙͈͎̉̌̽ himself, but his whiskey-tinged Baptist Preacher voice cuts through the chaos like Richey Edwards would his own wrist, and with a similar uneasy balance between pathos and animal spirit. To call it noise would be to neglect its dystopian melodic sensibility; let's call it post-noise, or better yet, until someone creates a record which can approach it's impossible standards, let's just call it PEEP.
