i was in athens, georgia last week visiting family. i went clothes shopping with my grandma at the local goodwill, and when we were looking around the sweater section, some homeless looking man puts down his stack of 5 or 6 sweaters and slides a casette of this album into my bag when he thought i wasn't looking. he went through all the effort to get it to me, i decided to give it a listen.
this album was okay but i don't think this guy and his band have much more in them. it picked up near the end, but the beginning isn't great. i can't see them releasing anything better than this, or anything really notable even.
