Not even memeing here but I feel like a lot of mainstream rap isn't even rap. Rap to me ranges from stuff to like star/pointro by the roots or stuff by biggie or what have you. Then you listen to stuff like drake or kanye and it feels less like i'm listening to rap and more like i'm listening to pop (not trying to say it's lame/sissy/girly, just the way they go about singing lyrics)
