aight this is the first time ive done this but in all honesty fuck this album. ppl always discuss this like it's the purest form of jazz rap when really there's nothing inherently jazzy about the production, but since it has crisp snares and vibrant horns and upright bass and low-toned ride cymbals ppl automatically say 'oh its jazz' when there's really nothing that connects this album to jazz in terms of composition. im well aware that im sounding like a huge asshole autist here but here me out. it just rly annoys me when ppl connect certain genres to music that only tries to emulate the overall flavor and instrumentation of the genre opposed to embodying the craft and composition of it

Some abrasive, violent industrial hip hop with killer flow and a fantastic ear for murky gutter-style beats. Also a number of great instrumental tracks that build on themselves in a well-composed manner

So this albums a 7 at best. The lyrics are kind of decent and flows are overrated for being chill. The productions nice but really overrated for being "jazzy" when jazz isn't about a certain "chill vibe" that's just how more harmonically complex chords happen to sound when played softly.
