Nice guitar over dubbing. The lead that comes in near the start may need some slight EQ and/or volume adjustment as it completely crowds over the backing guitar that started off the song. But not the biggest issue ever.
That stereo panning percussion/guitar taps were interesting but I think they are a little too loud.
The song may not even really need any loud electric/distorted guitar. I personally think it'd work well as just an acoustic track.
Nice song but my two cents added in here and there. Sweet dreamy vocals.

Contact high is easily your best, good melody and beat to it. The rest could be good, you clearly have an ear for melody, but you really need to work on your timing. Songs like paradise isle have a decent tune in them but a lot of the notes are off beat and don't really fit together. Working with a metronome and maybe just doing a homophobic texture ( which is a lead melody line with chordal accompaniment) to start and work your way past it as you get better. Either way you have potential and its up to you what you do with it. Thanks for listening to my song btw I'm glad you liked it pal.

What are the legal and etiquette rules for downloading a beat off SoundCloud, rapping over it, and posting it on my SoundCloud? I don't plan on selling the song or anything so would the rules be just like the rules for remixing famous beats? Is permission from the producer required?

there's no set rule but from what i've noticed if the existing thread has been bumped within like the last 30 minutes the new one will almost always be deleted. this isn't always true though. image limit is 250, bump limit is like 315ish. any new thread made after either of these usually is allowed to live on
