I can't help but feel underwhelmed listening to this. It's fine for a house track, and it's in the style of their other songs, but that's about it. At least Frankie Sinatra was interesting, not that I cared for it.
Honestly, it sounds like a song from one of those vaporwave channels on Youtube that actually upload house tracks with the looping anime gifs.
Overall, I don't find it captivating.
They repeated the same 1 minute part three times
This single sucks as in it just cuts off at the end so abruptly, where a next track would begin. But it sounds good. I want Wozard of Iz though.

I think you're right, they could get away with it in 2000 a bit easier maybe. It's such a shame.
Reminder that everyone was creaming their pants when we first heard Subways from the Primavera set. Mark my words, even if The Avalanches released an album that objectively surpassed SILY, people would still label it a disappointment.

Electricity is shit, it's not captivating at all. It's lazier sampling then the other songs, with just Blowfly's rap loop replayed again and again.
