I've always hated the who,,,shitty drummer, stupid corney songs especially their early stuff and bad guitar solos...i think they were one of the first punk bands which makes me hate them more.

The Who. Do not understand it at all. I love their contemporaries (The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Stones to a lesser extent), but I think The Who are just utter shit.

Do you think it's more a product of the time then? Because there are loads and loads and loads of artists from the 60s that I love, though I was born in 1991 I was basically brought up on 60s music, and I have just never been able to get into The Who. Sounds so dated to me.

probably. even the concept of a rock opera was groundbreaking during the quadrophenia/tommy years. these days rock operas are the territory of bands that write songs about video games and comic books, as it was always meant to be
