The wiki is trash. If you have questions, ask us, and if we don't know, google it.

Guys I fucking hate Serum's layout. Recc me a better softsynth!!!

Serum is GOAT, but if you don't like it but are looking for something similar go with Massive. Same wavetable ideas and such, slight different layout though. My advice is to really try and get into Serum though, it's great.

I have some decent patches, but I feel sorta limited.

>I had an MX200 because "lol lo-fi" and it had some nice sounds/well built, all that, but it was just way too noisy to be useable
I might stay away from that then.

>Pretty sure the Alesis was used by Mac for all of 2 if that's any help
Been leaning towards the Alesis + Valverb. I can do most of my effects processing on the Fractal really but it's reverbs are lacking.

>left speaker against the wall = wall reflection. bad
>you should put some sort of sound dampening in front of the speakers, to avoid sound reflection off the desk
Yeah I know, I can't really express how small this room is. Only here until the end of July so it isn't worth sound treating anything or trying to move things around much.

>that power bar on the desk = possible transformer hum from those power supplies. move it
That's running back to a protector until my conditioner arrives then I can remove it completely. Shouldn't make too much difference overall though, the preamp in the rack isn't very susceptible to noise and the rest are in another room with the cabinet.

>speakers are pointing at the distance and not slightly inwards towards your listening position. stereo field, dude
Really only using them to play music, anything real I'm doing with headphones at the moment until I'm back in a real place.

How can I achieve clarity in my mixes?

i dont give a shit about money and with all the music sharing platforms you can easily be famous. just gotta get better at production. unless of course if you aren into rap where production doesn't mean shit
>>
