Ok guys I figured it out, what the program does is it encrypts/decrypts the file using some sort of XOR encryption and it takes in some kind of key that will do that to a file.

First off, PGP keys are just keys. You can easily create a useless one. Since decrypting this one does not directly give us another key (QR codes do not fit into the process of PGP decryption), this key is certainly useless.
Additionally, the gibberish you get when you scan the QR code (gDU7YeB0) appears to be a "shortid." These are really easy to create also. You can do it in your web browser console.
This is the story:

It's expecting at least one input argument at the command line, so you would run it like this:
./nameofprogram keyfile.whatever
where that keyfile.whatever would be in the same directory as the executable. I also hope you actually compiled the program but you probably have no fucking clue what you're doing. Download a GNU compiler if you're actually serious about this shit and learn how to do command line shit.
Also the whole "malloc failed" shit is just retarded like there is no purpose to that, it can't fucking fail unless your entire memory is in use there's a bunch of gibberish code to make it look retarded.
To tell you what it will do, it will go through the file specified as the key file, and output a bunch of ones and zeros depending on if the first character of the argv at point[1][j] is a null character or not. It iterates though the array until it gets through the file, and writes the character to buf[i] it looks like. So you would also have to add some printing to print out those ones and zeros to terminal or to a file.
Basically it will make a binary-encoded text file.
