Yeah I know, for some reason we're /mu/tants.
But it's not a clever name or anything. Like, /cgl/ being "seagull" is at least pretty punny. And /b/tards are just /b/tards, the name really sums it up. /fa/ggots, /pol/lacks, etc. despite being offensive terms, kind of strike straight to the point about what the board is about, or is like, and so on.
But /mu/. /mu/tant doesn't really say much about us, how we're different from any other board or whatever. It's 4chan, everyone here's a freak, or weirdo, or whatever, so calling us mutants doesn't really do anything (it's also not that popular a way to reference the board's users anyway).
So guys, why don't we come up with a better name for ourselves, something more apt, something that actually has to do with music, but isn't too obvious (like /mu/sicians, or whatever)? I mean, let's be real, you've got nothing else to do.
