At the risk of sounding like a snob, I think all of the "best" hip-hop albums are overrated.
>>65666309
Not overrated at all. Protect ya neck goes hard.
I do like girls with glasses though
6/10 at best
Kid A is a gorillion times better.
>>65666309
nah. nah
>>65666573
Nah OKC is the greatest. Kid A is 4th.

ugh yes you can't say anything bad about this without getting attacked

I think you meant to post Yeezus. I don't think TLOP was even that hyped or overrated.
>>65667061
Is this a joke? How is Yeezus overrated? It's the opposite IMO.
And nearly every person I knew who was into hip hop to any extent, hyped TLOP like crazy. I think the hype made the album's quality seem better to them. I was fooled at first too.
>>65667211
well, the opposite happened to me
i hated the album at first, then some songs started growing on me after 3 or 4 listens
>>65666385
I'm not even sure this is universally/critically acclaimed, but it's definitely overrated if it is.
>>65666428
Only correct one so far.
>>65666573
I agree that Kid A is more deserving of praise, but OKC is still great on its own.

>this whole thread
>waahhhh don't like what I don't like
>>65666385
this is not acclaimed
>>65666359
no one outside of /mu/ even knows this exists so it's hard to call it overrated
>>65666309
>>65666573

>>65669084
