I disagree about Rotten Apple but fair with Swing on This.
Their self titled deserves a shout for being best grunge album too.
Jar of Flies is better and at least two Soundgarden albums were too.
Dirt is a great album though, one of the best of the era.

I suggest literally everything they've done. Badmotorfinger and Superunknown are absolute classics. If you want something a little more raw than those check out Ultramega OK, Louder Than Love, and Screaming Life/Fopp. If you want something more somber and softer listen to Down On The Upside. But definitely Badmotorfinger and Superunknown are primary. They're all great.
