He has always been a bit cranky, back from his zine-writing days.
I would almost commend him because he is bold enough to say he doesn't like jazz.
He is suprisingly nice about everything relating to producing (he almost never turns down any band if asked). Also doesn't seem like he thinks Big Black or Shellac were anything special.
He does have a band called "Run Nigger Run", most famous for the song "Pray I Don't Kill You Faggot"
