Bastard by tyler the creator. Expect far more EDGE tho.
Summertime 06 by vince staples is a bit more high energy, but kinda similar
Vaudeville Villain by Viktor Vaughn
>>65601213
>Summertime 06

Joey Badass 1999
>>65601408
to me its pretty similar. i dunno.
It's perfect for the first five tracks. One of the most intimate, achieved rap albums I have ever heard in my life, but then...
>>65601565
Nigga you kidding? There isn't a bad track on here.
>Vince's verse on "Wool".
Can't wait for Vince's next project. Are the "Shyne Coldchain" mixtapes good? I still haven't listened to them. Only "Hell Can Wait" and "Summertime 06".
>>65599977
limp bizkit - drop the dookie
insane clown possie - people are shit

Heavily disagree, sadly.
Wool. Grown Ups. DNA is okay at best.
>>65601662
Thanks mate. Gonna listen to it soon.
Btw OP if you're still here I love to shill this album because it was one of my favourites of 2015. Listening to it right now.
>>65601678
Wool and DNA are some of my favourites. It's a shame you can't enjoy them. Oh well.
>>65601481
maybe we just interpret Mike's lyrics differently. To me, it's always lighthearted and self-deprecating, not self-loathing
Just gonna post albums now that I like lads.

Oblivion Acess - Lil Ugly Mane
has the same kind of slow, depressed type sound to some tracks. https://liluglymane.bandcamp.com/album/oblivion-access
>>65601420
yeah it was so overlooked by critics. when it comes to hip hop, critics really don't know what's forward thinking at all.
they look for really regressive shit in the artists they categorize as "lyrical" or they just dickride artists they categorize as "street." you have to be really overtly genius to gain recognition outside of that (kendrick).
This project was far too subtle for them, but it's fine. There's a reason earl is kendrick, badu's, and more's favorite rapper.
