Acoustic (steel) or Classical guitar ?

Classical. I don't play classical but i thoroughly enjoy the sound of nylon strings for almost any genre. (I mean for playing, not for actual recorded tracks) also it's just a very fun instrument to play imo

I prefer steel, it's louder and the sound is fuller.But classical sure is not inferior, the soft sound it can make has its appeal

That's tough to decide one over the other. I guess the nylon strings appeal to me more than steel strings

Nylon for fingerstyle and nailpicking

Classical

steel is only good for buttrock strumming and folk

nylon is good for everything

I like the sound of classical a lot more, even for strumming.
It sounds grittier and you can get a noticeably different sound depending on what strings you use.
Steel is bland.
