I honestly think this was a good album, part of it has probably to do with the fact that I was a teen in the early 2000's. Anyone who shits on early 2000s bands like Evanescence or Linkin Park using "le edgy le meme xd" probably grew up in the late 2000s listening to shit like Ne-Yo, Jonas Brothers or Lady Gaga.

Don't get me wrong the two big songs (can't remember their titles but you probably know which ones I mean) are great, just the rest of it bored me. Was expecting something very different I suppose and it just let me down, thought it didn't develop interestingly.

20 years old and it still holds up. At the time it was released it was groundbreaking. Still a 10/10. It's a massive beast of an album without a single bad song. Mechanical Animals is also top tier. Manson has numerous great albums and it's strange how much he is hated on here. Yes he was trendy MTV and a household name in the 90's, but it was deservedly so.
