I think people forget that black people form 11% of the US population (yeah yeah I know theres more to the world than the US, fuck you im too lazy to look up stats for other countries), and When there was the big thing about Oscar discrimination, it's really a non issue because IIRC something like 10% of oscar winners were black. I mean it's proportional.
I guess some people think "There are 2 races, white and black, thus each must be 50%". This is especially stupid because Asians are the ones who really have been """""discriminated"""" against in Oscars, p4k lists etc. But nobody cares about that... just like nobody cares about how 25% of ivy league students are asian but they are like 5% of the population.
These idiots have a hard time reconciling the case of Asians with their oversimplified dichotomy of "privileged vs non-privileged". It's so much more complicated than that.
