I'm in your shoes. I kind of hate my voice. I have no technique, and have to layer vocal tracks to make them sound good

I don't know if it's serious practice, but I've read up on some technique and practice exercises. One thing that I really can't do is raise my pitch without raising my larynx moving up and down

Yeah, I don't like my voice either, but I think it might be at least a bit due to the fact that a person never really likes their own voice
