Slash, Lemmy, and Dave Ghrol aren't buttrock. Vedder is the main figure that most buttrock musicians try to emulate the hardest but early Pearl Jam was pretty genuine so I wouldn't include him either.
Buttrock has a very specific definition. It doesn't mean "commercially successful rock music that isn't experimental like my favorite bands Radiohead and Can."
