has there ever been a time where successful/talented musicians weren't the most attractive and enviable people in society? pretty sure there's just something innately impressive about a person who can express themselves musically and i don't see that changing unless we come up with a medium sexier than music. idk what the fuck i'm talking about though desu.

Yes. ASMR will replace music in the future.
Considering music has been around about as long as modern humanity (tens of thousands of years, and possibly longer) I don't see that happening ever. It's basically ingrained into us at this point.
