When people hear math-rock, why do they only think about Slint?
There's a lot of other groups that should get some coverage within the genre too.

Because they're 100x better than what you linked? I don't know... that might have something to do with it.

They are not really similar, while toe being mostly instrumental, and uses far more instruments than slint, while being aucustic.
Slint has more noise and more focus on fewer but louder instuments plus a bigger focus on vocals.
I think both groups accomplish what they are trying to do musically pretty good.
