Decent answer. Cutest gril on your collage is Grace Slick desu.
Managed to find a bunch of Peel radio recordings, especially the ones with Solex, which were the ones I was looking for. Working on splitting them into separate tracks.
>>65238231
Saw Ground Zero on some collage. Might try them out.

Don't you worry, child. It happens to everyone :)
>Thoughts on the Getz/Gilberto album?
Excellent record. Tom Jobim's piano is simply rich and gorgeous, João Gilberto has a compelling voice and Stan Getz has a smooth, yet not cheesy, phrasing. I liked it.
>Who is the cutest person on my collage
Probably the girl on 'Confetti' :3
>>65238294
You should. Sachiko M and Otomo Yoshihide from Les Sculpteurs were both in the group.
>>65238310
I don't know if I like it as much as you but I agree with your thoughts. Also, decent answer for qt gril.
Pretty disgusted by some of the stuff on my collage this week. I guess I haven't really listened to a lot this week. It happens
>>65238231

Favorite jazzman on your collage?
>>65238677
actually the coleman hawkins comp was the most flooring and stunning of all the jazz i've been listening to this past month, his playing is incredibly beautiful and romantic even though he essentially just noodled over standards for the whole four hours
>>65238721
I've never listened to Coleman Hawkins before but you've got me more interested in it. Will have to check out someday.
>>65238677

>Interesting. I don't know a lot about what you're talking about, but I am interested. Want to give me a little backstory on what the "peel recordings" are?
Recordings of John Peel's radio shows. He was a radio host in England and was a big help in getting a lot of bands noticed. I'm surprised you haven't heard of him.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Peel
There's a John Peel wiki that has a giant archive of recordings of his shows which have live sets and studio sessions and such of a ton of different musicians.
>>65239308
Boku, you haven't recced that to me. Will give it a listen sometime anyway. He's where lowercase came from right?
>>65239487
>Boku, you haven't recced that to me

Not finding anything about it on the wiki unfortunately. It's the Japanese rock band right?
And yeah, I liked Memory and Money. It started off kind of rough but it got a lot more interesting after the first track.
>>65239443
Wow that's really cool to hear. Yeah I guess I'm kind of our of the loop, still learning. thanks for all the info
>>65238901
And thanks for the rec
