It's Japanese.
Though I guess there's more reason to seek out stuff like that than because of the stereotypical troll reason of "ITS JAPANESE AND THUS SUPERIOR TO MY OWN COUNTRY"
Like maybe you'll find some good bands or something.
Also why does Japan have such a liking for Shoegaze anyway?
Did Loveless sell really well there or something?
Maybe it's about the soft female vocals that a lot of japgaze bands use.

It just has a different flavour compared to UK or US shoegaze, kind of unique to their own

My reason of liking it more isn't because I think japan is better. I think it's because I really don't understand what they are saying so the vocals are just another instrument. Also Japanese rock bands seem to just have more energy it seems.
