I don't get this album? The first track is good because it was in a Kanye West song but the other songs are just boring

Try to appreciate it in the context of the time it was released but otherwise don't stress yourself out trying to enjoy the album just because another artist that you like took a sound bite from this or because /mu/ has lauded it as a core part of discussion. If rap is more your speed it's good that you are trying to expand to other genres but don't torture yourself listening to something that doesn't engage you.

It broke a lot of ground for its time. But I don't think it holds up as well as some of King Crimson's later releases. As they went on the music got much more refined. KC is one of, if not, my favorite group, but I don't think this album represents at all what they're capable of.
