Also sending them to the Seoul Special Arts school, which only had Koreans, cuts out the middle man. Versatility is completely different concepts working well in their own right. IMO, Ex-girl doesn't work for MX. Because of U, just as 'slow' of a song, fits them much better. The contract between Focus On Me and Because of U is versatility working phenomenally.

I mean let's be real here. CLC was a colossal failure from the start. They flopped 3 albums and will flop a 4th. After this regardless of success (they will flop anyway), they need to either kick Sorn or disband entirely.
They aren't finding success and they just aren't good. They need a MASSIVE re-haul or just straight up fire the members. They are setting a bad example for Cube when the male groups really need the exposure.

People really overlooked Focus on Me on this mini. I did too my first four or five listens and then it really struck me just how good of a song it was on this album. Ex Girl was the worst on it, but the other "softer" songs like Because of U and White Sugar were great.
Guess they had Ex Girl as a preview track because it seemed like a crowd pleaser, but it seriously lags behind the rest of the album.

Focus On Me should have been the lead track. Honestly, with Fire being somewhat of a disappointment, MX could have easily gained a couple fans through having the better hype song. And holy shit, that massive chorus that's still kind of.. soothing? Kihyuns voice is godly.
All In is nice as an album piece, and still a really good song, but not one I would lead with. That and promoting Ex-Girl instead of literally any other song really weakened their comeback.
