Not entirely, earlier Swans reflected more things like slave labor and construction work, combined with something close to what you said.
In any case it's never disavowed masculinity itself, Swans has been more of a portrayal of raw human nature than an outright condemnation. Nu males would simply dislike the aggressiveness of the music itself.
