Lonerism had a direction as a story while currents did as well (and it was more clear) but as the songs themselves, they didn't really fit together as well as lonerism did
And lonerism somehow triggers nostalgia for me even though it only came out like 4 years ago
Honestly, not really. I like what he did with production on Currents, the synths seem to be more varied and programmed better. But the songs on Lonerism are better overall.

Kevin Parker has a good voice but that's about it. I've never seen him display songwriting or musicianship that is particularly impressive. Those fake strings in Let It Happen sound fucking awful and the part where the song is skipping is so annoying. Every track sounds exactly the same besides Let It Happen and Disciples.
