good question. Did you see the documentary about this album? It's yes and no. Seems Jay was a little overbearing, he was pulling some interesting shit for sure but you can see an argument jeff and jay had on screen and jeff is clearly correct. the whole thing was a house of cards until Jim Orourke got involved. I think a ghost is born proves that the band was slowly transitioning out of the experimental noise soundscapey stuff
