I think I was definitely different.

I played well apart from I was spooked by leaving small silences which will happen doing what I'm doing solo, I didn't have faith the audience would tolerate it as the guy before me was heckled a bit( but he was a bit agro).

I should have held my nerve really. Instead it meant I raced through 3 songs in 6 minutes as I kept thinking "don't leave a gap".

Next time I'll keep to one thing and let it develop as when I get to a point where I can get into atonal be-bop type soloing it sounds great, really flying.

I didn't realise how much I'd hear the chat in the room which was what threw me but next time I won't worry.

I reckon I could make a name for myself if I persist.

this is what we play to, which is mainly the performers and maybe a few mums and dads like you can imagine.

when it was my turn there was a dude in sunglasses and tattoos and and bloke in a Roger Waters T-shirt , which helped
