This is what I'm expecting. If it is, it won't be groundbreaking, but probably still pretty good, especially for a summer soundtrack, and that works for me

That's what makes the Avalanches so great. They manage to be groundbreaking and innovative while still being unmistakably familiar and fun. Fun is the best descriptor I could come up with because listening to The Avalanches is just a lot of fucking fun.
