Hey /mu/, /m/ here.
I just came back from my Grandfather's grave recently, and I couldn't deal.
The old man loved Jazz, but I shitty pleb and only listen to contemporary music.
Can I just get some songs to feel a bit closer to him, in some way?
These are my only two major listens in reference to the genre.

He was born in the the late 20s, so I guess his taste probably bloomed some time in the 40s before he joined the war effort, so stuff from that decade maybe?
I always wanted to listen to his old CDs, but my asshole uncle took them all after he died.
I'm not trying to get spoonfed, I just want to feel a bit better.
