And 9.8??? Look, I like the album, although I don't claim to "get" it. I see why people like it. But to me, a 9.8 rating signifies a fucking milestone in music. 9.8 is an album that creates a new genre. With all due respect, I think the only way this album could get such a high rating is if the writer had huge bias towards college rock and indie.

Scaruffi can give whatever ratings he wants because he does it all free of charge and never tries to impose his opinion on others. His site is his personal page. Same goes for Fantano. But DiCrescenzo wrote for an online music magazine, and a pretty influential one, too. It's simply unethical to give such biased ratings. It's bordering on trolling.
